Bansky’s Exit through the Gift Shop

This documentary film made by a famous street artist Bansky tells about Thierry Guetta's growth process of becoming a street artist Mr.Brainwash from a gift shopkeeper. Most footages in this film are from the video filmed by Thierry's private camera.

It contains different street artists' interviews, their art works and the process as well. Because it is in the form of documentary, there is the narration with a serious tone. Bansky was anonymously interviewed for many times. And as this documentary is about Thierry, this shows him since the year of 1999 from the extract of his private videos and has a lot of his interviews. At the end of this film, it shows the recent situations of the whole cast. These elements make the documentary believable.

On the contrary, the elements which makes people doubt the reliability of this film is particularly when Thierry went to the amusement park to film Bansky’s piece. Even though he said in the film that he removed all the files in his camera in front of the police, we could still see the scene of it.
